SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) defines recovery as "A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential." There are a variety of treatment options available in Monroe County and around the state to support you or a loved one through this process. 

Treatment Atlas is Indiana's official addiction treatment locator as of October 2023. Treatment Atlas lists all 605 addiction treatment facilities certified by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration's Division of Mental Health and Addiction. Next Level Recovery is a resource specifically dedicated to finding addiction treatment resources in Indiana using an online tool. You can also call their Indiana Mental Health and Addiction Hotline at (800) 662-HELP (4357).

Helping Bloomington Monroe is a resource to assist in finding many types of local resources including substance use treatment, healthcare services, food assistance, social services, childcare and more.
